9-1-1 is a Joke in...Charlotte

That's right, folks.

On my layover in Charlotte, NC, I was sitting in an airport bar right next to the one, the only, FLAVA FLAV.

For those of you who don't recognize the name alone, let me add this visual clue:

It's strange seeing celebrities in real life. In the last few years, my good friend has been on a reality show. I've seen comedians I've worked with on TV pretty often. But this was different. Here's this guy, sitting in a bar, and I have several CDs with his voice on it. Public Enemy is...well, a big deal.

Mr. Flav was very cool; he was sweet to the young ladies from Cinnabon who came over to say hello.

How did we all recognize the mature rapper, you ask?

Because he was wearing a giant clock around his neck is the reason why.

Natch.
