The Picture of Health!!!
DISCLAIMER: Not for the weak of stomach...
After somewhere between 2 and 3 weeks of being out of it, under the weather, and just plain sick, I am finally on the path to wellness. I called the doctor on Monday, and they diagnosed me over the phone with Something That Is No Big Deal and told me to take 8-10 kinds of over-the-counter medicines at the same time. Four days later, I decided to call them back and inform them that stuff was oozing out of my eye. This won me a ticket in the door, and the doctor told me that I had such a bad sinus infection that it was probably reflux up my eye-nose chute (not its technical name). This eye-nose chute usually adheres to gravity and flows downwards (causing a person's nose to run when she cries, for instance), but my shit was so backed up that junk (read: pus) was actually being forced UPWARDS and coming out my eye.
Fucking gross.
Anyway, I am now on antibiotics, and I already feel about 10,000 times better.
Sorry for the grossness.

Gaaah. Well, I'm glad you're feeling better. Congratulations on having a malady interesting enough to get you past the medical velvet rope. I hope it spoiled all their lunches.
Thanks for the the non-technical medical jargon, it'll always be an eye-nose chute to me now!
