Where can I see Queens of the Dead in theaters?
All listings can be found on the website here! See it opening weekend, Oct 24, 25, and/or 26!! Go!! Dress up!! Bring ten friends!! See it twice!!
The website says it’s not playing anywhere near me. What are my options?
Call or email your local indie or AMC theater and ask them to book the film! If that doesn't work, rest assured Queens of the Dead will be available on iTunes and Amazon Prime Video later this year, then on Shudder and other streamers after that. But I'm telling you, get to the theater if you can.
How can I help spread the word?

Stars? There are stars?? Who is in this movie?!?!?
Queens of the Dead stars comedy royalty Margaret Cho and Riki Lindhome, plus Drag Race star Nina West, not to mention Katy O'Brian (Love Lies Bleeding), Jaquel Spivey (Mean Girls), Dominique Jackson (Pose), Jack Haven (Atypical), Tomás Matos (Fire Island), Cheyenne Jackson (30 Rock), Quincy Dunn-Baker (Nonnas) and zillions of other hilarious, gorgeous, wonderful, talented people.
What is this movie?
The official synopsis: "Drag queens and club kids battle zombies craving brains during a zombie outbreak at their drag show in Brooklyn, putting personal conflicts aside to utilize their distinct abilities against the undead threat." My preferred answer is that it's a genre-smashing conga line through the zombie apocalypse. It's won 13 awards, most of them Audience Awards, at festivals all over the world.
Can I bring my kid?
I plan to let my kids watch this movie when they’re around middle school age. My nieces and nephews (including middle and high schoolers) have seen it. Be aware that there is some campy violence, some drug use, some adult language, and the existence of hook-up apps.
But... I don’t usually like horror movies.
That’s more of a comment than a question. But I get it! Rest assured, Queens of the Dead is a horror-comedy, and it’s not psychologically dark or disturbing. It’s got some juicy glam-gore (think glitter in the blood) and a few good jump-scares. If you can handle Jurassic Park (the original), then you can handle Queens of the Dead.
Hey, what about me? I DO like horror movies!
Hooray for horror fans! Queens of the Dead might not get your adrenaline-junky heart racing in quite the same way The Conjuring does, but I promise you we keep it pumping. Horror geeks will appreciate the practical effects, the slow-n-stylized zombies, the creative kills, and a steady stream of easter eggs and cameos. And, not unlike the rhythm, I bet these jump-scares are gonna getcha.
That's the end? But I have more questions!
Girl just email me!
